A Contemporary Lighting Scheme for Pinewood Studio

Working alongside Etch Associates, Optelma supplied a coordinated architectural lighting scheme across two floors, incorporating five distinct luminaire types to meet the different lighting requirements of the project.

The scheme combines Tube 60, Tube 60 Track, Quad W, Indi Round and Magneto, introducing a mixture of linear, circular and track-mounted lighting throughout the spaces.

Tube 60 and Tube 60 Track provide a consistent cylindrical aesthetic, with the track-mounted option offering flexibility in the positioning and arrangement of luminaires. Quad W introduces a more structured linear element, while Indi Round and Magneto provide contrasting forms within the overall design.

All luminaires were specified at 3500K, maintaining a consistent colour temperature across both floors despite the variation in product styles. Switch dimmable control was incorporated throughout, providing simple, practical control of the lighting.

The completed scheme brings together five different Optelma product families within a single project, demonstrating how a combination of luminaire shapes, mounting styles and lighting arrangements can be used to deliver the clean, modern aesthetic envisioned by Etch Associates.
