Optelma delivers high-efficiency lighting upgrade for Queensgate Shopping Centre
Peterborough, UK — Optelma has successfully completed a major lighting upgrade for Queensgate Shopping Centre, delivering a modern, energy-efficient solution that enhances the visitor experience while significantly reducing operational costs for the centre.
Working in close partnership with the centre’s management team and consulting engineers, Optelma supplied a bespoke Plaster LED lighting package from Atelier Sedap designed to improve visual comfort, safety and ambience throughout key public circulation areas. The new system replaces legacy fluorescent fittings with low-energy, high-output LED luminaires engineered for longevity and simplified maintenance.
The upgrade forms part of Queensgate’s wider programme of sustainability improvements, helping reduce carbon emissions and creating a brighter, more welcoming environment for shoppers.
“We are proud to support Queensgate on its sustainability journey,” said Jonathan Phillips, Project Sales Manager at Optelma. “The combination of high-efficiency luminaires and intelligent control integration will deliver energy savings from day one, while also future-proofing the scheme for evolving operational needs.”
